Linda Buppert - Owner and Stylist
Having trained extensively at Redken in New York and Wella in Washington D.C., Linda has over 25 years experience in hair design and color.
She specializes in precision cutting, one-of-a-kind razor cutting, color and color correction. Linda incorporates the most current techniques, seeing each client as an individual with his or her own story and lifestyle.
Linda is a California native, making Nashville her home since 1991. She opened The Look Salon in 1996 and, with her outstanding team of stylists, keeps Nashville looking and feeling beautiful.
Brenda Melendez
You’re sure to fall in love with Brenda’s outgoing and funny personality. Being an innovator, she loves to bring new options to her clients so together they can create a beautiful, fresh image. Although she enjoys all aspects of the industry, Brenda specializes in unique coloring and color correction services. She has worked in the Country Music industry for many years with high profile Artist. Working with people is what she loves to do, and she feels that no matter what her client desires, there’s a way to obtain it. The happiness of her clients, and the faith they instill in her is the best part about her career. Brenda loves to spend time with her two dogs, family, friends, and be outdoors in her free time.
Debbie Fitzhugh
Debbie moved to Nashville from Indiana and has over 33 years of experience in Cosmetology .
The Look Hair Salon has been her place of business since 1992. Many of Debbie's clients have
enjoyed her personal and professional care needs since then ! Debbie specializes in all aspects of color using Logics colorcremes and Wella . Debbie also loves making her clients look good with her haircuts, eye catching braids and gorgeous up-dos. Outside the salon Debbie enjoys the outdoors with husband Bob and volunteering in different ministries including Native American Ministries of the United Methodist Church.
Steve Garris
Steve is originally from North Carolina and trained in Wichita, KS. His favorite thing about being a hairstylist? Meeting new people and helping them find the perfect haircut and color.
Steve specializes in highlights, color correction, and low lights. Beyond salon life, Steve enjoys painting, playing piano and guitar, and hiking—anything that’s creative and expressive!
Joseph Gregory
Joseph is a one-of-a-kind stylist. He’s also a perfume inventor, noted author, sought-after historian, and active member of the Nashville community. He is originally from Louisville, KY and was educated at Belmont University.

Marlisle Campbell
Marlisle has been a stylist in Nashville for 30 years. She was a salon owner for 10 years, and has worked in salons that vary from fast paced to relaxed high end environments. She has experience in all aspects of haircutting, and is highly skilled in razor and clipper cuts.
She can provide precision haircutting for children with patience and lightheartedness. Marlisle is a patient listener with the desire to achieve results requested by clients, and motivated to establish long term positive relationships with clients. Marlisle has extensive color knowledge and had focused on trending techniques such as vivid colors, balyage, and transitioning to grey gracefully. Color lines have included Redken, Goldwell, Matrix, Framesi, Paul Mitchell and Pravana. She is currently using Redken color lines and Davines Mask color and View. Marlisle uses formaldehyde free smoothing treatments from Egoliss and Keratherapy. Marlisle is very detail oriented with strong time management skills. She is passionate about the industry, and hasn't lost interest in learning new skills and sharing knowledge. Her focus is on natural health and welness, and beauty products that enhance a balanced lifestyle.
Stephanie Hoskins
As the third generation in a line of hairstylists, Stephanie Hoskins recognized her creative ability early, and she knew that being a stylist would be her calling.
As a specialist in pivot point precision cutting, Stephanie works diligently to stay abreast of the most current trends in hairstyling. This has paid off in opportunities to haver her work showcased in platform and runway shows, as well as a long-running burlesque act in Las Vegas. Her dedicated clientele is a testament to her commitment to haircare and style.
In addition to her work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her son and volunteering for various charities, such as her styling for cancer awareness with St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Jamie Martin
I am a Nashville Native, I have been in the industry for 12 years. I have a deep love and passion for color, and love a challenging color correction as well! I think that the consultation is key and I strive to achieve the Look my guest is wanting, with keeping the integrity of the hair in mind. I attended the Redken Salon Professional Academy and graduated in 2008. I am a Redken color/cut specialist and I keep my quests excited about their looks by always continuing my education. I also provide services for men as well!
